She was born in Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital and later moved to the San Gabriel Valley and Riverside California, where she graduated high school.She served 8 years in the U.S. Army Reserves, received a Bachelors Degree from California State University in Los Angeles and attended the University of Southern California for graduate school.She has also received a degree from New York University.She has a dance background, studied acting at H.B.
