NYPD Blue - Season 3
The series returns again through the third season full of powerful events, with James and Greg both nearby when a man obsessed with drugs tries to steal two nearby shops. Russell and Lesniak are working on a case involving a man who died of an overdose of drugs, as things seem to take a strange turn. On the other hand, it seems that Simon and Rosell do not want him to provide the backup that they and Lesniak will need during the coming period.

Most immediately apparent is a change -- a subtle tweaking, it seems to me of the music score running under the first sequence. It plays just a bit harder, a bit tougher, a bit edgier than usual.
