Mad About You - Season 8
The eighth season is exploring a new series of events, as Paul and Jimmy try to plan for Mabel's surprise birthday party. Perhaps both will intend to reveal their own big surprise at that moment. Over time, Paul and Jimmy give up their daughter, Mabel, on her first day at university, complicating things. They seem to have completely different ideas about what their life will look like after they deal with new children.

It's a soft incitement and leads to a soft reboot. It's pretty middle-of-the-road stuff and you never feel like NBC made a mistake in not wanting this reboot

It's kind of fun seeing Reiser and Hunt slip back into these characters, but as is so often true with these exercises, the kick/novelty pretty quickly wears off.
