Falling Skies - Season 1
After the earth invasion by aliens, people face many challenges and hardships, as they struggle against that invasion, and they decide to cooperate in order to survive and over some such invasion, so they choose Tom Mason, the history teacher, who leads them, but incidents come to climax, upon kidnapping one of his three children by the aliens, the thing that makes his fear and worry about his son.

There's something enjoyably retro about TNT's "Falling Skies," an old-school, B-grade sci-fi invasion series that's more reminiscent of the original 1980's "V" than the recently canceled ABC remake.

It has a solid Saturday-matinee tone, as the characters dart through the wrecked streets with dirt on their cheeks and rifles on their shoulders.
