Wentworth - Season 4
The previous season ended with Wentworth fire, after four months the women return to Wentworth after they were housed in walford prison during the rebuild . A new regime is afoot in the Wentworth , Vera is now the governor, Will is her deputy and Ferguson returned to Wentworth in a different way as prisoner until her trial . A chain of dramatic events follow up , Bea searches for purpose and reasons to live the rest of her life in the prison, she questions if she still wants to stay the Top dog and will suffer difficulties due to some decisions she has to take Kaz plans to usurp Bea to become the Top Dog , she tries to use every chance in her way to get rid of Bea .Bridget and Franky relationship will cause them many difficulties . Maxine will face dangerous issues threaten her life.

It's an exhausting watch, but it's certainly an eye-opener and it leaves an effect on the viewer long after the sombre musical number at the end of each heavy episode.

While I can't speak of what's gone before, this season four opener was an absolute belter, featuring a cast of fabulously strong, variably humane female characters.
