Season 5 carries a host of new and powerful events. The fifth season starts with Christine, who is asking for a salary bar under current circumstances. Both Marley and Lindsay Matthew are the new wizard. On the other hand, Max convinces Christine to get rid of bad relationships that are difficult, which she chose to treat instead of her boyfriend.

As it proved once again last night, Old Christine remains both extremely amusing and distinctive.

The season premiere is a bit too scattered and crazy to really showcase what's lovely about New Christine. But the strength of Louis-Dreyfuss and Sykes comes through loud and clear.
