In this exciting show, there seem to be many exciting artistic competitions we are having with celebrities everywhere. The show opens a new and powerful series through a wide range of challenges, starting with a group of celebrities wearing costumes to hide identities. One singer is eliminated each week. On the other hand, small hints are given to guess the viewer along, which can be very exciting and amazing.

"The Masked Singer" is a reality competition much like "American Idol," minus whatever shred of self-respect that show has ... or ever had.

Little about this production seems self-aware enough to suggest its charming, interesting moments happened on purpose. Except for the costumes! The costumes, really, are good.
