In the series, there seems to be more comedy going on. When Carrie continues to skip softball matches with Doug and the players, Doug wonders what's going on. Doug discovers that Carrie is working late for her boss. Doug begins to wonder why Carrie has fallen. Doug tries to reach Carrie by going to a concert with his cello. On the other hand, when Doug discovers that Richie's girlfriend is cheating on him, he has to face him with the news. However, Doug has some problems in telling his friend about his girlfriend.
