The Glades - Season 2
The drama and crime series is back in Season 2, where Longworth is investigating a man who was beaten to death in a truck stop. In these dubious investigations, Longworth finds new evidence leading to a rehabilitation center. Meanwhile, Carlo deals with Quincinera for his daughter and a former colleague who may have asked him for real help, and Cali and Jeff try to deal with Ray's absence.

The Glades isn't interested in challenging convention, viewers, or the notion that summer television is a time to do anything but provide the fluffiest fare possible on the boob tube.

Matt Passmore carries the mystery/cop series over a few of its storytelling bumps but the program is hit-and-miss overall. Luckily, there are enough solid episodes of "The Glades" to carry the viewer through the escapist season of summer.

Unfortunately, the show rolls snake eyes in its sophomore outing. We have more of the basic procedural show, and there's be no attempt to make the characters any more likeable.

One of these two storylines [in "Moonlighting"] was boring as hell and and the other involved a murder, an accidental pregnancy, a bank robbery and a wannabe Danica Patrick. Guess which storyline I liked best?
