Dominic West and Ruth Wilson's chemistry on screen is uncanny and even when the two talented actors aren't in the same shot, they easily hold their own alongside the supporting cast.

I continue to be completely caught up in the storytelling method of The Affair, not just because it's two points of view, but because they are both telling the tale to the police.

What is fascinating about the different memories that Alison and Noah remember is how obvious to the viewer, and most likely not themselves, is how well they serve the needs and desires of the person recounting them.

Its to the show's credit that it never feels less than completely measured, at least through the first two episodes.
