Star Trek: Discovery - Season 2 Episode 03: Point of Light
The second season presents a series of terrible science fiction where the events of the previous season complemented differently. The season opens with new events where Kraft finds himself on a deserted ship, which may be very strange. During that terrible coincidence Kraft finds himself that his only companion and hope to survive is A.I. The computer interface is something that needs to be thought.

Discovery continues the serialized mystery here by character assassinating not one, but two The Original Series characters; giving us a Klingon soap opera that works on zero levels.

Best part, hands down, was Georgiou's return as a Section 31 operative.

It was an episode that further laid out the components of this season's mystery, so for that, it was worth the watch.
February 01, 2019
I love that so far this season, the writers have figured out how to balance the breakneck pace of the show with smaller character moments.
February 01, 2019
It gave Mary Wiseman some great moments to play, including a terrific scene with Sonequa Martin-Green where they puzzled out Tilly's problem through tears, science, and friendship.

Your mileage may vary, but overwrought royal feuds are exactly what I hoped to see when Discovery gave the Klingons a central role.
February 01, 2019
I've gotta admit that Emperor Georgiou's surprise entrance, like some sort of avenging Enfys Nest/Boba Fett hybrid, was positively delightful.
February 01, 2019
Having a character with mixed DNA, who crucially can "pass" as one species only, is an interesting angle that hasn't specifically been explored in Star Trek.
February 01, 2019
For all the nightmare stuff Michael goes through this episode, her brief moment with Tilly after her bridge-freakout is such a great little moment of warmth.
February 01, 2019
Osunsanmi (who's also an executive producer this season) has a playful eye for scene construction, and a gift for infusing conversation scenes with kinetic wit.
February 01, 2019
It offered crowded, haphazard and choppy storytelling with bold choices that depart from historic Trek norms. (A suggested decapitation? Yikes!)
February 01, 2019
It's not all bad as long as the show uses each decoy as an opportunity to bring otherwise overlooked characters into focus.
