Sanditon - Season 1
This dramatic series reveals the story of Charlotte Heywood, a brave and reckless woman who tries to fulfill what she dreams of her life. Charlotte moves from her cottage to Sandton for a new project. The city is a fishing village where Charlotte is trying to implement its project as a coastal resort in that area. Charlotte faces different challenges in the face of her new life in that city.

Think of a Jane Austen novel and Love Island doesn't exactly spring to mind. And yet it's hard not to compare Andrew Davies's adaptation of Sanditon... with the ITV2 reality show.

With its constant winks, nudges and sniggers, Sanditon comes over like some ropey end-of-the-pier show, albeit one with breeches and bonnets.
