Sanctuary - Season 1
We live here in a series of dramatic events that speak of a different world of excitement and pleasure, where events begin when Dr. Magnus, Will and Ashley save three missing women. On the other hand, Magnus is struggling to accept that women suffer more than just an illusion in a group, and Dr. Magnus suspects that women are far more than they appear, which may seem quite different. On the other hand, after picking up a particularly anomalous plane the plane carrying Dr. Magnus will crash while moving the creature.

Still, this low-key, low-budget but well-intentioned sci-fi/action hybrid might be of interest to fans of Tapping's earlier work as Samantha Carter on Stargate SG-1.May 14, 2007
It's not an embarrassment for the channel, but it doesn't raise the stakes either.May 14, 2007
The monsters are first rate, the virtual sets are very cool, the acting is excellent.May 14, 2007
There's little to recommend this dense drama, which recycles a number of familiar sci-fi tropes.May 14, 2007
It's a lot like BBC America's Torchwood, just without the wit and a charismatic lead actor.May 14, 2007
Much of it feels dreadfully slow, not so much moody as stretched for time.
