Returning to the excitement where the last season stops that follows Claire Randall, a smart and courageous combat nurse, who after the end of the Second World War, plans for having a second honeymoon with her husband, but when she has been taken back on time to the period of 1743, when she has been trapped in a dangerous war and she has to marry another Scottish warrior. In this new season, a great celebration for the wedding of Briana and Roger.

What Outlander has always done well is its depiction of dramatic moments riddled with tension, and even if you've read the books (like your faithful recapper has) and know what's coming, it doesn't make those scenes feel any less powerful or weighty.

Watching Claire and Brianna reminisce and connect on the beach here is touching. It's a nice break from the otherwise plot-heavy, high-stakes suspense of the episode.
