New and exciting events have not yet ended in that series which is still going on by the Fourth season. Claire is trying to show Jimmy an important part of America's history, which will make Jimmy wonder about the possibility of rooting. On the other hand, the visit of Claire and Jimmy to the Jocasta farm, followed by a tragedy that may change a lot.

It doesn't help Brianna's story that two seemingly-contradictory things are true: Sexual assault is depressingly frequent in real life, and yet "Outlander" overuses it as a plot device.
