I love that in the exact same episode, Orphan Black can celebrate both nature and nurture with both points feelings equally valid.

The final season has felt sluggish, but "Guillotines Decide" shows us how powerfully that pace can unfold like a grisly, slow-motion car crash.

The show gives her quite a sendoff, having Felix articulate what has often been Orphan Black's deepest message, that we are so much more than genetics, and that family is about more than just blood.

"Guillotines Decide" may have done a great deal to move the story forward, but there remain enough loose ends to offer much to look forward to in the final two episodes of the series.

"Guillotines Decide" was an incredible episode that showed Orphan Black at its best. The eighth hour of the final season delivered a perfect mix of Neolution corporate drama and family heart.
