Nurses - Season 1
The dramatic series tells the story of four young nurses working on the frontlines of St. Jude's hospital. They are in a continues fighting to dedicate their lives to helping others. Day by day, they will face a lot of obstacles ad challenges while figuring out how to help themselves.

A few character traits aside, Nurses... has little distinctive about it except that it is network space-filler, it takes place in Toronto, and none of the patients are going to go bankrupt for the care they received.

Nurses' opening gambit is filled with such ethical and emotional dilemmas and, as a way to hook you into the series, it certainly packs a punch.
