In the third season of the series, it appears that Nina is once again involved with two Latin gangs. In the meantime, Lieutenant Cooper will be taken hostage in her office by a man who threatens to blow up the area completely. This man is demanding that his son be removed from the death penalty or it will be very dangerous. Nina learns that the daughter who gave up adoption 11 years ago is trying to reach her.
