Lewis - Season 1
The series examines the diary of Inspector Lewis, who has returned to Oxford from a two-year engagement abroad. After Lewis returns home, he finds himself faced with a dangerous and vague turn-over given that he was immediately involved in the murder of an American student. Louis faces an unknown destiny in this period and tries to discover the issue, which hinders his career and life.

But like its titular character, Lewis has successfully stepped out of the shadow of its predecessor and is not only a fitting tribute, but an enjoyable show in its own right.
