The series tells of more powerful and different events, with former police officer Kevin discovering that retirement - in some ways - carries greater challenges than life at work. On the other hand, after realizing that Donna had arranged the house as she wished, Kevin decided to bring it back. Kendra tries to strengthen Chale, and Kevin secretly hires someone to do his work so he can play football with his friends.

In the end, Kevin James is an extremely likable and funny guy and while it's good to have him back on-screen making jokes, it's a shame that it can't be in a better show.

Kevin Can Wait is exactly what you'd expect from Kevin James. No more, no less. Some fans might find that appealing, but most of us don't feel like waiting around. There are more rewarding shows to be found elsewhere.
