[It] was so jam-packed... there was barely a second to catch your breath. All of which makes sense - there is A LOT going on as season 4 of Hawaii Five-0 begins, and this episode did its absolute best to touch on all of it.

You don't usually come to Hawaii Five-O to think, or to feel, or to learn about a tragic miscarriage of justice that took place more than 70 years ago, but the episode, titled "Ho'onani Makuakane", easily scores with all three.

While "Pukana (Keepsake)" wasn't a masterpiece by an stretch, it managed to elevate itself above filler status with intrigue and yet another tear-jerking closer.

The show makes a point, with scenes of the Pearl Harbor bombing itself, not to diminish the devastation of the attack or the cost of its aftermath.

Kono and Adam didn't appear all that much in this episode, but every time we see them, they're story gets more and more interesting.
