The fifth season offers a strong series of new and exciting events during the fifth season, which seems to complement the previous season. The fifth season is back, with Haven being established as a safe haven for refugees, Gordon hopes to stop guerrilla fighting in Gotham. Meanwhile, Selena is determined to find Jeremiah persuading Bruce to help her. Then, Penguin goes to Haven to regain his staff.

Season 5 opens with a wonderful, further-into-the-future sequence of Gotham's heavy hitters... preparing for an epic battle, and it is by FAR the best opening sequence of any show in 2019.
