Godfather of Harlem - Season 1
It is a series of events that embody the life of criminal Bumpy Johnson. In the early 1960s, Bumpy returned from prison and found the neighborhood he once ruled in chaos. Now Bumpy tries to control the family of Genovese crimes that are creating chaos everywhere. In order to implement these plans, Bumpy is forming an alliance with the radical preacher Malcolm X, which has caused real controversy.

It's a promising setup, but the show doesn't build on it after the opening episode. The story starts to veer off into tangents that are melodramatic, distractingly implausible, or both.
