Gen: Lock - Season 1
This series tells of more powerful adventures that we live in differently 50 years later. In that period, a tyrannical power of oppression threatened to overcome the world, and therefore there must be a force to face it. A bold team is being recruited to experiment with a new form of armed neuroscience that destroys destructive mica in order to save the world from all these challenges, but they must sacrifice first of all.

While the addition of impressive voice talent like Jordan, Fanning, Tennant, Williams, and Dillion is appealing, it doesn't do enough to enhance what is ultimately a flimsy story.

If the first two episodes, packed with action, heart, and humor, heartbreaking twists and back-stabbing turns, don't grab you, then clearly ''gen:LOCK is not the show for you.

The show has a cast full of extremely likeable and interesting characters that already make it well worth watching. But it's still missing a larger story that's worth letting those characters tell.

Gen:LOCK has enough going for it early in its run that the Rooster Teeth fanbase as well as mecha nerds should find some enjoyment out of it.
