Across seven years, Game of Thrones have come with seven seasons which have managed to leave a historical mark among the viewers. The series has became one of the most rated and viewed series across the history. The past season's ending was so exciting where we saw Bran uncover a shock secret about Jon Snow, he is a Targaryen, the thing that makes him the legitimate heir for the Iron Throne. But the throne doesn't need more, as we know there is a serious conflict between Cersei and Daenerys for the throne. Among all this troubles, the world is about to face a dangerous chaos as the dead army have managed to destroy The Wall and they are so near.

I don't think anyone can be happy that this season focused, in the end, on Jon Snow, the least complicated main character on an ensemble full of brutal instincts and grasping ambition.

Season eight made the regrettable mistake of giving half its time to an underwhelming villain at the expense of the characters who made the show special in the first place.

Season 8 doesn't feel like it was earned, with too little time dedicated to growing characters paired with a greater emphasis on rushing to major plot points, rather than proving to those of us watching how inevitable they were.

If only [David] Benioff and [DB] Weiss had had more faith in these quiet moments. Instead, they tried to load as many epic battles and as much incredible CGI into the final season as they could.

Season 8 is the weakest, but it's still good. It's just "Good" in amongst a series that constantly hit "Excellent" makes it really stand out...
