After breaking the universe, there was a bittersweet beauty in watching Fry and Leela grow old together in a frozen world, reminding audiences that Futurama was always capable of creating remarkably touching moments within its hilarity.

It's nice to occasionally stumble upon Futurama (rerun or fresh) and marvel once more at its sharp sociological satire.
