It was truly the end of an era as CSI Season 16 Episode 1 and CSI Season 16 Episode 2 closed out a series that changed the way America viewed the criminal justice system.

Cheesy, thrilling and with half a dozen plot threads left dangling in the wind, it was CSI at its most ridiculous. As a fan, I relished every cliche-soaked moment.

Best of all, fans got a happy ending that stayed true to the guiding principles of CSI: keep the twists coming but never cheat the audience.
