In the wake of Kate Callahan's departure from the BAU, the team interviews a batch of BAU applicants in hopes of finding a new addition to the team, including an impressive forensic anthropologist, Dr. Tara Lewis who is eager to help them on their cases. Meanwhile, the team continues to travel from major cities, to small towns and even to a community inhabited completely by sexual predators, in pursuit of deranged serial killers, homicidal scorned hearts and obsessive stalkers.

While this season's opening story had a lot of action and interesting plot, there was a noticeable hole in the team dynamic, brought about by the departure of Kate and temporary absence of JJ. It doesn't feel like the usual team anymore.

Anyway, the case tonight was fine. Usually your typical Unsub on this show is just a guy who went crazy for whatever reason, but this time we had an honest-to-goodness hitman on the show!
