Wray Nerely is an actor trying to reach fame as soon as possible. Wray starred in Spectrum, a science fiction series and was successful in it. After a short time, Wray moved to a different twist between the strange people and the accidents he encounters day after day. Along the way, this struggling actor learns how fans like and sympathize with them.

It's hard to say where the journey Wray begins here will lead him, except that it's based on something clearly authentic. Con Man isn't immediately a love letter to fandom, but that only makes it all the more real.
