Blindspot - Season 1 Episode 03: Eight Slim Grins
A mysterious woman is found in Times Square covered in a series of cryptic tattoos… including his name on her back. Her discovery sets off a vast and complex mystery that immediately ignites the attention of the FBI, which begins to follow the road map of her tattoos into a larger conspiracy of crime, while bringing her closer to discovering the truth about her identity. With every passing day, Jane unveils a new skill or a hidden talent without understanding its origin, while Weller is drawn deeper into his troubled, complicated relationship with this enigmatic woman. They both strive to make a connection, unaware of the dangerous blindspot that threatens them.

Finally, Blindpsot has begun to hit its stride, revealing information more fluidly without so many jumpy flashbacks and silly, audience-leading devices.

It remains to be seen whether Blindspot's makers will figure out the best way to make it, but they seem to be having a great time figuring it out.

"Eight Slim Grins" proved just how engaging this show can be, and it had me on the edge of my seat throughout. I can't wait to see where the show goes from here and how Jane will cope with knowing her real identity. There's a lot at stake here!

While the characters still need to find their groove, "Eight Slim Grins" included a solid case of the week, as well as a surprising twist regarding Mayfair.

There are still many elements that are riddled with plot holes and groan-worthy coincidences... That being said, it's clear Blindspot isn't designed to be taken too seriously... We're just here to enjoy the ride.

Blindspot has undoubtedly shown that it will continue to offer surprises and answers more frequently than other series, which is very satisfying.
