The First Wives Club
It may change and become a real disaster, with three middle-aged women from 69 years of age gathering again for a strong retaliatory plan. The three women gathered to reduce the loss of another schoolmate who killed herself after her husband left her and decided to take revenge on the husbands who left them for the younger women, which could completely change things.

More entertaining than it ought to be, considering how sloppily it was put together.
November 02, 2005
Funny film with the three leads in top form.
January 01, 2000
Trite, labored, and much too nice.
July 14, 2003
Suprisingly funny lighthearted comedy dealing with divorce. Lackluster conclusion, but good "feel good" tone.

Diane Keaton is at her best here, Goldie Hawn has never been this good, and we know going in that Bette Midler is virtually tailored to a raucous farce about the sweet revenge of spurned spouses.
July 29, 2002
"glossy fluff, impeccably cast and performed"
