The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle - Season 1
There seems to be a great comedy that we will live in the powerful family animation series. When he remembers Bullwinkle forgetting the secret element of a stinking pie recipe, he and Rocky travel to Norway and Yegendin help the beloved Grand Winkle, without knowing they are following. On the other hand, the manager of Peachfuzz enlists Rocky and Bullwinkle to help her penetrate the fear captain's hideout, and Boris and Natasha are replaced by robot followers.

It's serviceable, sure - even enjoyable, for the most part - but it's not essential... Longtime fans of the characters are unlikely to be offended, but when it comes to remaking a pop culture classic, is "not terrible" the best we can hope for?

This reboot is good. What's wrong, however, is beyond its control. The original "Rocky" was an antidote to the madness. In 2018, no single cartoon can be an antidote to the madness. It's just another cartoon.

The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle, manages to honor the classic tone and themes of the title team's escapades while bringing them into the 21st century and giving the show the quality animation it deserves.

Stream it. It's still Rocky and Bullwinkle, just much more hit-and-miss than the original.

I'm glad Amazon has brought "Rocky And Bullwinkle" back even though it's not nearly as good or as commendably twisted as the original.
