Lunatics - Season 1
We live here a series of comedic events raised by some strange people. These people live a life different from ordinary people where they behave differently and strangely. The events begin with Becky, who has been experimenting with her life since she is engaged in YouTube. On the other hand, Keith appears to be preparing for the grand opening stages, Gavin makes a friend and a new video, and Joyce has problems with his neighbors.

With 10 episodes at an interminable 40 minutes each, there's just too much material here to slog through.

The jokes, such as they are, wear down within minutes, making the relatively-brief 35-minute runtime into an unbearable slog.

What should Chris Lilley do next? It's a question worth asking because, if you have watched his new Netflix series, Lunatics, you will have realised that the thing he currently does isn't very good.
April 21, 2019
The show is set up as an irreverent, bold exploration of weirdos and identity - Lilley probably wants you to be outraged - but it mostly feels like a bunch of tame sketches that overstayed their welcome.

I'm sure Lilley is capturing different Australian types and language registers better than I can appreciate, but still the whole thing looks and feels like a ragbag of choices that neither hang together per character or per show.
