Kolchak: The Night Stalker - Season 1
This series follows the story of an investigator named Carl Kolchak, a reporter for the Chicago Independent News Service, as well as an investigator. Kolchak was able to transfer his investigative skills to vampires, werewolves, zombies and all kinds of mythical creatures in order to uncover the mystery of those creatures. As time goes on, Kolchak tries to convince his skeptical editor, Tony Vincenzo, of what he is, but it seems unusual.

The Night Stalker presents its hero as a put-upon man wholly out of his depth in terms of the actual threat at hand, but his unfailing ability to use his eyes and piece metaphorical puzzles together gives him a decided leg up among his peers.
