Alias Grace - Season 1
In this series, there is a very controversial issue that is about Grace Marx, a poor immigrant, an Irish young woman and a domestic servant. One day, Grace was convicted along with James McDermott for the brutal murders committed by his employer, Thomas Kinnear. James was jailed while Grace was sentenced to life imprisonment. The series presents this controversial issue, one of the most obscure issues where Grace became one of the most obscure and notorious women in Canada in the 1840s.
