Veterinary school student Jacob takes a job in a traveling circus, meets and falls in love with Marlena, a star performer as well as the ringmaster's wife. They soon overcome all odds to find lifelong love.

The movie rather embarrassingly sells chastity in the midst of what feels like a lawless situation. It's handsomely mounted but timid.
