Tim Timmerman, Hope of America
A film easy to criticize for hokey production values but I enjoyed it. It was funny and had charismatic performances. It's obviously trying to channel Ferris Beuller and Napoleon Dynamite. If you like those films give this a shot. It's charming.

Tim Timmerman: Hope of America would be hopeless without Perino and Maidhof. He's got a raffish charm, she's delightful as an ingenue, and their chemistry together sparkles.

Overall, Tim Timmerman: Hope of America is a quirky but flawed film that is headed in the right direction, just good enough to get you to look forward to the filmmaker's next effort.
