Their Eyes Were Watching God
The film takes place in the first 30 years of the 20th century in the city of Eatonville, Florida; Jannie Crawford, 16, is forced to marry a man who is much older because he is too rich. Jani has to endure this dismal marriage as inefficient and bear the interference of her parents in her life. The source of her only happiness in life is her illicit romance with T-Kaik.

Winfrey does try to offer TV entertainment of value and with values. But her latest ABC movie, "Their Eyes Were Watching God," is almost comically predictable...
