In a series of comedies, the young king (Edward) travels with his wife Queen Bedge to Asia for a royal wedding, but they face many paradoxes once they arrive there. They discover that the princess is desperately trying to evade her marriage arranged by her future malignant husband and that he is in love with a poor young man who works as an elephant coach. The King and Queen embark on a search for the elephant to save the situation, while trying to persuade the Asian king to marry his daughter.
