Sense and Sensibility
Dashwood dies and leaves a large part of his wealth to the son from his first marriage. Dashwood left behind his three daughters from his first marriage: Elinor, Marianne, and Margaret. Girls' lives may be stifled by lack of wealth. The story begins with Elinor, a serious girl who tries to keep things going within the family. Both Elinor and Marianne face significant obstacles because of their need for money, especially when they decide to get married. Elinor has an appointment with Edward but his family disagrees and disagrees. Marianne finds that John Willoughby looks different.
