Secret Santa is the holiday horror film to watch when you want to see a family that is more dysfunctional than your own. It is equal parts carnage and laughs, with outrageous characters that have you laughing and screaming from start to finish.

Secret Santa isn't going to make it onto the Christmas horror A-list, but if it's a fun B-movie experience you're looking for, you could do a lot worse.

There's a line between homage and rip-off and I think you cross it when you quote lines in their entirety, without a lot of irony, from better movies.
