Saving Face

Description
This story seems quite strange, as it is highly controversial because of its conflict with culture. That story began with a Chinese-American lesbian and her traditional mother who were reluctant to appear to the public with secret love. This story may seem to contradict the culture of a society that seems stable and stable.

The message here, as in every quirky ethnic romantic comedy, is 'follow your heart.' But wouldn't it be great if for once the characters cared more about the continuity of antiquated cultural traditions than their own personal happiness?
