Point of No Return
Dramatic events continue in the life of Maggie Hayward, a violent criminal who committed numerous heinous murders. But she is arrested and sentenced to death on the electric chair, but the FBI has another opinion, where it is decided to grant her a new identity, a new residence. All this in return for being a professional killer for the federal authorities against criminals, who threaten the security of America, but the big problem lies when they fall in love.

Bridget looks great, but the film is hackneyed.

bah. rent the French original
August 13, 2002
Fonda looks great in that little black cocktail dress, but this studio remake robs the terrific original of its soul.

Hollywood, in its infinite wisdom, figures it can make better American pulp than the French can. As it turns out, Hollywood is right.

Point of No Return is violent, loud, profane, angry, nasty and, in terms of its plot, often quite ridiculous. In other words, it has all the makings of a box office hit.

An okay remake of the better LA FEMME NIKITA. Captures the spirit, but not the intensity.
January 02, 2004
A remake faithful to the film upon which it is based and an intelligent, thrilling action film with a real story and solid acting.
August 21, 2014
It's by no means awful, but I won't re-watch it any time soon, unless I intend to gawk at Bridget Fonda.
November 26, 2003
Totally unnecessary, sterile remake of LA FEMME NIKITA.
