Lola Versus
Lola is 29 years-old dumped by her longtime boyfriend Luke just three weeks before their wedding. And Lola is forced to re-group as she cancels the wedding. While struggling to find happiness through sexual flings with her best friend, first dates with strangers, and attempts at re-connecting with her ex-fiancé, Lola realizes she';;;s going to have to find herself first before she can find love and happiness.

Lola Versus has plenty of potential, but with a script that has absolutely no handle on its lead character, the experience quickly becomes unbearably frustrating.

I didn't dislike this movie because I'm a man. I generally disliked this movie because I felt the main character was a bit pathetic.

There's a distinct lack of individuality and insight and, appositely enough, if Lola Versus is about a woman floundering, as a film it can be accused of the same.
