Throughout his childhood, Phil Wetson, a professional trainer, suffers from the hard personality of his father who is also a sportive man. After taking the mission of training a soccer team of kids, his life changes completely when he finds himself act like his father in training kids, in order to win the competition.

Kicking & Screaming succeeds because it understands its target audience, refraining from playing it too cute or crude. Though predictable, it's well executed.
