This lean animated feature includes some exciting, suspenseful action scenes, some complex themes, and even some humor; it's all amazingly economical, given the 77-minute running time.

Were it not for some major departures from the source material,could have been the best entry in Warner Bros. Animation's DC Comics library, but it's definitely in the upper echelon of the consistently quality animated films of the DC Universe.
