In an exciting and strange story within the city of Chicago. The McLeister family has decided to spend Christmas in Paris, but it may be a lot different when the whole family gathers up in the house of Peter and Kate the night before their departure. Suddenly, during the night, all the power lines were disrupted by heavy winds that destroyed all the electrical lines, all of which re-tuned the alarms and would therefore delay the plane's schedule. When they all rush to get to the airport in order to catch up with the plane it will change and Kevin may have been left behind.

From the unappealing cheapish opening titles to the murky production values, it's immediately obvious "Home Alone 4" isn't playing in the same park as its beloved predecessor...sad
