Curly Sue
The dramatic film revolves around a wide range of interesting events. Events in the life of Bill Danser and his young companion Kirlie Soo start with homeless people, but they carry gold hearts. Their frauds do not aim to make a profit, but aim to get enough food. But their lives change. When Gray accidentally bumps into Bill, she insists on putting the two up, even because of the objections of her misguided fiance, Walker McCormick.

It's the first film in which Hughes flat-out sentimentalizes being rich--moreover, selling out.January 02, 2011
A violent, offensive comedy.November 18, 2011
The film has a desperately cutesy-pie charm that drips with flop sweat.April 21, 2007
Reprehensible from start to finish, and utterly manipulative and mindless to boot.
