Although he did not achieve the greatest fame, swashbuckling "B movie" actor Vince Flaherty certainly came close to it as one of only a few leading men with Goldstone-Tobias, a theatrical agency that that included Steve McQueen and Ryan O'Neal, the number one and two box office draws at the time.Flaherty started in show business as a child actor in The Texan starring Rory Calhoun, and in the recurring role of a schoolboy on The Donna Reed Show. He was a final callback but was deemed too young for the role of James Bond that went instead to George Lazenby.Thereafter, he moved to Europe where he made several movies including an Italian western translated in English as "Lanky Fellow". During his career he has produced several independent films including A Gun, A Car, A Blonde, starring Billy Bob Thornton and John Ritter; and Sin-Jin starring Jonathan Davis, Richard Tyson, Don Stroud and Roddy Piper.
