Tom Corn was born November 12, 1962 in Los Angeles California. He attended Mayfair High School in Lakewood California. He played saxophone in the marching band and had aspirations of becoming a professional musician until he was cast in the small part of Claude in the high school production of Onions in the Stew. The moment the audience began to roar with laughter at the quirky character he had developed he was hooked.Now firmly committed to the idea of pursuing a professional acting career in 1981 he enrolled in Caroline Leonetti's School of Acting in Hollywood and began the process auditioning for film and television roles. His early influences were Henry Fonda, Montgomery Clift, Marlon Brando and James Dean.After years of acting classes, auditions and limited acting prospects he married, had two daughters and joined the United States Navy in 1988 in an effort to support their young family.During his decorated naval career as an Operations Specialist he received training at the Fleet Intelligence Training Center in San Diego California and served as a Database Manager for the Tomahawk Missile System during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm (1990-91). He also received commendations for his efforts during Operation Fiery Vigil helping to evacuate refugees following the 1991 eruption of Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines.After being honorably discharged from the Navy in 1994 Tom continued to live in the San Diego area working in the property management industry until 2007 when, at age of 45, he decided to revive his acting career and returned to Los Angeles.Since 2007 Mr. Corn has been involved in numerous television and film productions in both acting and production capacities.
